68 RPTRAs in East Jakarta will Be Closed Temporarily

Total 68 Child-Friendly Public Integrated Spaces (RPTRAs) in East Jakarta will be temporarily closed from December 6 to 9, 2021.

RPTRA will be reopened for activities on December 10-24

East Jakarta PPAPP Sub-agency Head, Sumilan mentioned, RPTRA will be reopened for activities on December 10-24. However, number of visitors will be limited to only 25 percent of normal capacity.

"Except for RPTRAs equipped with substation, PLN electricity poles, and cables that will be closed for an undetermined time while waiting for policy from PPAPP Agency," he said, Wednesday (12/8).

According to him, his side is still inventorying RPTRAs equipped with PLN power posts, poles, and cables because those RPTRAs will be re-examined the overall condition. It was done to prevent unwanted things from happening to the safety of RPTRA visitors and administrators.

"PPAPP Agency will coordinate with PT. PLN to carry out inspection in RPTRAs that have PLN power posts, poles and cables. Because RPTRA is public facility, of course it must be safe and comfortable for everyone," he asserted.

Besides, RPTRAs with shady trees will be also handled specifically, in order to anticipate any fallen trees in RPTRA area.

"It is carried out for the safety and comfort of RPTRA visitors and administrators," he closed.
